New Features and Pricing for Data Feed to Google Product Search

Validation reports, more frequent updates, and product count monitoring are new features included with Aten Software's service for submitting product data to Google Product Search and other comparison shopping engines.

New pricing took effect today for Aten Software's core offering, its shopping feed management service. Pricing is now $16.50/month for the first Standard (formerly known as 'Basic') Data Feed, and $5.40/month for each additional Standard Data Feed. A Standard Data Feed includes daily submission of unlimited products from one e-commerce store to one comparison shopping engine.

Aten Software now bundles additional features with the feed service. One such feature, the Feed Validation Report for Google Product Search, identifies missing or invalid data in the product listings. Using this report, merchants can more easily comply with Google's strict data feed specifications.

Another new feature available for Yahoo Store merchants is rapid feed updates. Within about an hour after publishing changes, the latest product listings are submitted to Google Product Search. This ensures that the freshest possible data is provided, increasing shopper satisfaction.

A unique - and now free - feature is the Product Count Monitoring for Google Product Search. This notifies merchants when their listings are no longer searchable in Google Shopping. Merchants can then quickly take action to restore their listings and reduce lost sales.
