Monitoring Service replaced by Product Protection

The Monitoring Service will be discontinued on August 17, 2026 since Google Merchant Center now offers Product Protection, which serves the same purpose.

To enable Product Protection, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > General > Account setup in your Google Merchant Center account.
2. Check the box for Turn on product protection
3. Enter a percentage. The default is 40%. We recommend 20%.
4. Click Save

After enabling Product Protection, you will receive an email alert from Merchant Center whenever a feed update removes more than the specified percentage of listings.

We strongly recommend enabling this setting so that you receive an automatic email notice whenever your listing count drops unexpectedly.
