Our system supports Merchant API and no action is needed

Google announced that they will be replacing the Content API with the Merchant API on August 18, 2026.

Our customer's data feeds are not affected by this change because we send feeds to Google by SFTP, not any API.

Our customer's do not need to take any action, and this article is just for your information.

We do use the Content API for the optional Monitoring Service. This service does not affect your feed, and is only used to notify you if the number of active listings drops below a threshold. We plan to update this to the Merchant API soon. You will receive an email if any action is needed.
